What This Site Does Not Do

There is no analytics of any kind: no measurement script, no tracking pixel, no beacon, and no third party contacted when a page loads. The one stylesheet and every typeface are served from this domain. The only script element in the whole build is a block of structured data naming the publication, which is inert text rather than code that runs.

This site sets no cookies. Nothing is written into your browser's storage, so nothing carries from one page or one visit to the next. There is no account system and no form anywhere, so there is no field a reader could type a personal detail into, and no embedded video, map or image pulled from anybody else's server.

What Is Outside This Site's Control

The host is the first thing. These files sit with a commercial hosting company, and a web server ordinarily keeps some record of the requests it answers. That logging is not run here and those records are not read here, and how long the host keeps them is not something this page can speak for. The same limit covers anything the host might set in your browser or attach to a response: the cookie sentence above describes this site's own code, which is all this page can vouch for. Telling you there is no logging and nothing set at all would be a claim about somebody else's system.

Outbound links are the second, and this site is largely made of them. A gazette, a court, a ministry, a university library: each works to its own practices, and following a link puts you under those rather than these. Nothing tells this site that you followed one.

Mail

Writing to the address on the contact page means the operator holds your message and the address it came from. It is used to answer you and for nothing else. It goes on no list, because no list exists.
